Gurnee is our home market. The shop is on St. Paul Ave, off the I-94/US-41 corridor, which is also the spine of the town’s commercial base: Gurnee Mills, Six Flags Great America, Great Wolf Lodge, and the Grand Avenue retail and entertainment district that’s grown up around them.
That mix drives a specific kind of signage demand. Gurnee Mills alone runs 1.9 million square feet and around 200 stores, making it the third largest mall in Illinois. Properties at that scale need wayfinding that holds up under constant renovation and tenant turnover, ADA-compliant room identification for back-of-house and employee areas, and interior graphics that can be refreshed without redoing the whole program.

Hospitality and entertainment venues here run at capacity most weekends, so installation has to work around operating hours, not against them. Retail and mixed-use buildings need a sign schedule that survives multiple tenant fit-outs over the life of the property. And any building open to the public, from a hotel lobby to a corporate office park along the corridor, needs ADA signage that’s correctly scoped: tactile and braille where required, visual-only where it isn’t.
